Many of the more exotic and exclusive holidays and vacation spots in the world are located on islands. One of the reasons could be that the islands are surrounded by the sea and enjoy a pleasant weather through out the year due to the moderating influence of the sea.

Since the islands are some distance away from the mainland, the region is not easily accessible and is less crowded. Also the indigeneous flora and fauna of the island has developed over a period of time, which is different from that of the mainland.

NOTES:
* For all properties in Tongariro National Park (Mount Ruapehu), Ohakune, Mount Hutt (Methven), Wanaka and Queenstown there is no winter rate – (Winter – 1st May 09 to 30th Sep 09) and (1st May 10 to 30 Sep 10) – the summer rate applies year round.

* All rates are nett New Zealand Dollars and include GST
* One rate – One night, single or double occupancy
* Flexibility to pre-book or free wheel however, pre-booking is recommended October to March
* Mainstay Go Kiwi Hotel Pass directory will be provided
* The Pass must be purchased prior to departure from country of residence, it is not available for sale within New Zealand

Go Kiwi Hotel Pass has amended dropped its rate
for the traditional low season period of 01 May 2009 – 30 September
2009, and included April 2009 within this as well, so it’s a great
saving for April customers. These new prices apply for all existing
bookings and any NEW Bookings for the period mentioned. Please note
however, it does not apply to the Tongariro (Ruapehu), Ohakune, Mount
Hutt (Methven), Wanaka, and Queenstown.

Rates and cancellation

* Rates Include : Pre-dinner drinks with hors d’oeuvres, four course table d’hote dinner with wine, full breakfast and Blenheim airport transfers.
Child Policy : Lodge unsuitable for Children under 15 years.
Cancellation Policy : If cancelled in the months of January and February
100% of the total cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival. In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking for all months excluding January and February 25% of the total cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival.

Should the cancellation be received within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the total cost will be
charged for every room night cancelled and a 10% booking fee will be applied.

Cancellation Policy : Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival
are entitled to a 75% refund of the total reservations. Reservations
cancelled within 7 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total
reservation, except December and January when 100% of the total
reservation will be charged if cancellation is within 30 days of
arrival.
First Light Temple : 1 Bedroom, up to 2 Pax. The Eyrie: 3 Bedrooms, up
